WELCOME TO TEECH FOUNDATION
T.E.E.C.H has provided recovery support services and workforce development services for more than 20,000 people with outstanding outcomes. According to an impartial third-party evaluation organization, in 2023, an average of 85% of the population are maintaining their recovery, financially stable, and have their own housing.
Our program representatives were invited to discuss green jobs and alternative energies at the White House in Washington, D.C., and cultural competency issues in San Antonio, Texas. We have been recognized for the following achievements:
Create an environment that encourages and cultivates recovery for individuals with substance use issues.
Develop a supportive environment that allows for effective collaboration within the recovery community.
Implement effective communication that will promote sustainability, prevention, and early intervention in order to support their recovery.
Transforming, Educating, and Empowering Children and Humanity (T.E.E.C.H) was founded in 2002 and we are a holistic 501c3 not-for-profit organization. We provide Behavior Health Services by qualified individuals. T.E.E.C.H is a Certified Recovery Community Organization (RCO), Certified Drug Overdose and Prevention (DOPP) Program, and the Far Southside Recovery Oriented Systems of Care (ROSC) Program. Also, we are a member of the United Mental Health and Recovery Coalition (RCO) and are developing Certified Recovery Congregations on the Far Southside of Chicago.
TEECH provides peer-driven and peer-led Recovery Support services (RSS) to individuals who are seeking assistance with substance use and mental health. We aim to make a difference in people’s lives by increasing public awareness of substance use and mental health.
We are committed to assisting individuals with walking through many pathways by using their voices to address stigmas attached to addiction. T.E.E.C.H. believes long-term recovery from substance use disorders is dependent upon the delivery of services that are not only responsive to an individual’s use of alcohol and other substances but also co-occurring, trauma effects, mental health issues, physical health problems, and ongoing recovery-related concerns.
T.E.E.C.H offers holistic services that strive to assist individuals in maintaining their recovery. We provide empathy to build congruence with the individuals that we serve. Our only requirement is a desire to make a change.
